Moody Hires Thrall’s Head Coach

2011 Coaching Change: Moody Bearcats
Old Head Coach: Sam Gillispie — Left for 3A West. He led the Bearcats to a 10-31-0 record over the last four seasons. His Moody team made the playoffs for the first time since 1999 last season despite their 4-6 regular season record. He has also been an assistant at Burleson and Forney.
New Head Coach: John Ward — From 1A Thrall. He coached the Tigers for two seasons going 14-9. Before going to Thrall he was the head coach at 1A McCamey.
Team News: The Bearcats had their best season in six years in 2010.
