Flower Mound Wins Shootout Over McKinney Boyd

The Flower Mound Jaguars won a close one over the McKinney Boyd Broncos 44-36. This was the 2nd week in a row that Flower Mound was in a close game losing to Dallas Jesuit 41-42. McKinney Boyd is also now 1-1 after they beat McKinney North 42-10 in week 0.
The game was not settled until late even though Flower Mound had almost double the yars that McKinney Boyd had. The Jaguars led 34-21 at half. Their defense then had to stop the final three Bronco drives to win the game.
The Jaguars were once again led by quarterback Marshall Williams and WR Chas Taylor. Williams completed 33 passes on 54 attempts for 416 yards and four touchdowns. His season totals are now 54-97 921 yards and 8 TDs. Taylor caught 10 passes for 122 yards and 2 touchdowns. His season totals are now 16 receptions 434 yards and 6 TDs.
Flower Mound won last year game 40-28.
