Football Schedules Affected by Texas Fires

We at Lone Star Gridiron would like to offer our prayers to the families displaced by the fires raging across Texas. Although it is far from the most important thing happening right now, there has been some confusion over which football games have been canceled, rescheduled, moved etc. due to the fires. Just as we did during Hurricane Ike and other disasters affecting the state, we try to provide a resource for people trying to get information.

Bastrop ISD - all district activities cancelled through September 10th

Bastrop vs Akins 9/9/11 - cancelled

Cedar Creek JV at San Antonio Christian 9/9/11 - cancelled

Garland ISD - all district activities cancelled for Tue 9/6/11

Leander ISD - reopened and nothing appears to be cancelled

Linden-Kildare ISD - closed through 9/7/11

Round Rock ISD - Stony Point High School and Monterrey Tech 9/8/11 - cancelled

Apparently this cancellation has nothing to do with fires, but instead related to Monterrey Tech's travel difficulties

Smithville ISD - all district activities cancelled through September 10th

Smithville vs Wimberley 9/9/11 -cancelled

Tyler ISD - all district activities cancelled for Tue 9/6/11

The Middle School games that were cancelled on Tuesday will be played on Thursday, September 8. Forest Park vs Moore Middle School 8th Grade - 4:00 p.m. @ REL Field
Dogan Middle School vs Boulter Middle School 8th Grade - 4:00 p.m. @ JT Field
