Amarillo Caprock Earns 2nd Consecutive Playoff Spot

Caprock makes the playoffs for the second year in a row with the victory. This comes after a 35 year playoff drought. Caprock is now 7-2 overall and 4-2 in District 3-4A play. Plainview falls to 2-7 and 0-5. The Caprock Longhorns quarterback Michael Guerrero completed 12 of 16 passes for 175 yards and 4 touchdowns. He also caught a touchdown pass and ran for another. For the season, he now has 210 completions on 299 passes for 2,969 yards and 39 touchdowns.
