Mike Says: Mount Enterprise comes in with solid wins and a top 10 ranking. They face a tough task though. Tenaha's QB Reginald Davis is a dual threat (696 passing, 634 rushing) and will be the offensive leader. Their defense has earned 2 consecutive shutouts. They are led by LB Dearron Roland (65 tackles), LB Chavis Gregory (54 tackles) and DL Jose Campos (46 tackles, 6 sacks). We had Tenaha in an earlier Game Of The Week against a very good 2A team in Garrison and they won that one 21-20. We have them playing in the Championship game so cant go against them now. The TIGERS win 35-17!!!
Chris Says: This is one of those games that looks great on paper - both teams are 6-0 - both teams are scoring like mad - both teams are rolling. Sure, Tenaha is giving up half the points that Mount Enterprise is, but it is against teams that are suspect. Against like opponents (Timpson being the only one) Tenaha scored 20 points more but Mount Enterprise gave up 14 points less. In the end, the difference maker in this game has to be the home field advantage. The Tenaha TIGERS take it at home 30-24!!!
