Katy Tigers Roll to Week 10 Fan Championship!

The final  Texas High School Football Fan Champs Award of the regular season was won by the Katy Tigers!  Last weeks, winner, the La Porte Bulldogs finished strong but new blood reigned supreme as the word about the contest started to reach all areas of the state.  The contest, recognizes the teams that have done the most on Lone Star Gridiron to let fans around the state know their team spirit is strong.

Teams earn points in several ways:

* Calling in audio support for their team to our fan feedback line 713-568-6361 (game reports, shoutouts to players or their school, you name it)

* Sending in video from the game (YouTube or other hosted video)

* Leaving comments here on the website

* Sending photos from the game

* Interacting with LSG on our facebook page (questions, comments, photos, poll participation etc.)

* Interacting with LSG on our twitter (@LSGridiron - mentions, retweets, questions etc.)

In order to keep fans from "gaming the system," the point system is kept top secret!

This week we had over 80 teams vying for the title of Texas High School Football Fan Champion and once again, it was a great battle.  The Tiger of Katy High School took the win strong through their participating on the website, feedback on twitter and facebook and more.  Congratulations to the Tigers!
