First Team
Jake Oliver, WR, 6-4, 194, Dallas Jesuit
After an all-state season as a sophomore, Oliver did not disappoint. He hauled in 108 passes for 1,637 yards and 23 touchdowns.
Darius James, OL, 6-4, 295, Killeen Harker Heights
With 70 pancakes and 67 knockdowns, James earned 5A all-state honors.
Demarkus Lathan, LB, 5-9, 180, Longview
The Class 5A Defensive MVP, Lathan was a sideline-to-sideline linebacker. He made 188 tackles, three sacks and blocked two kicks.
Second Team
Jake Raulerson, OL, 6-5, 250, Celina
Playing for one of the top small-school programs in the Lone Star State, Raulerson was a second team all-state pick in Class 3A.
Tyrone Swoopes, QB, 6-5, 220, Whitewright
A Class 2A all-state honorable mention, Swoopes completed 110 of 209 passes for 1,394 yards and 15 scores. He rushed 170 times for 2,267 yards and 29 scores. He recorded 540 yards and 7 scores in a single game against Tom Bean.
Zac Michener, P, 6-1, 160, Kennedale
Michener launched some booming punts in 2011, averaging 43.7 yards per punt with a long of 84 yards. Twelve of his punts landed inside the 20-yard line.
