Burnet Promotes Defensive Coordinator

2012 Coaching Change: Burnet Bulldogs
Old Head Coach: Doyle Walker -- Retires after leading the Bulldogs to a 30-24 record over the last 5 years. This was his only head coaching job. He was also an assistant at Rotan, Hale Center, Cisco, Eastland and Jacksboro.
New Head Coach: Kurt Jones -- Was the defensive coordinator for the Bulldogs. He has been on the Burnet staff for the past 11 seasons.
Team News: The Bulldogs will move to Region I from Region IV. They will be a member of District 8-3A along with Brownwood, Gatesville, Lampasas, Liberty Hill and Llano.
