Farmersville Returns To 2A With A New Coach

2012 Coaching Change: Farmersville Farmers
Old Head Coach: Ross Dodson -- Retiring after leading the Farmers to a 20-23-0 record over the past 4 years.
New Head Coach: Sammy Burnett -- From 1A Honey Grove where he led the Warriors to a 16-6-0 record over the last 2 seasons. He has also coached at Van, Kemp, Brenham, Burnett, Shiner St. Paul, Jacksboro and Angleton
Team News: The Farmers went 20-23 during their 4 years in 3A. Their last 2 years in Class 2A (2006 & 2007) they went 24-4. They will move down to District 6-2A Division I with the last UIL re-alignment. The other schools in the district will be Caddo Mills, Commerce, Howe, Pottsboro, Sunnyvale and Van Alstyne.
