2012 Coaching Change: Dallas South Oak Cliff Golden Bears

Old Head Coach: Kendall Miller — Leaving for 5A Garland Lakeview Centennial. He led the Golden Bears to a 29-6 record over the last 3 seasons. This was his first head coaching job. Before that he was an Assistant Coach at Arlington Bowie 2008, Arlington Sequin Assistant 2007, Dallas Lincoln offensive coordinator in 2006, Arlington Sam Houston offensive coordinator 3 years. His dad Ocell Miller, spent six seasons as Dallas Samuell’s head coach before retiring in 1997.

New Head Coach: Emmett Jones -- Was an assistant/offensive coordinator at Dallas Skyline for the past 7 seasons.

Team News: The Golden Bears are on a 5 year winning streak going 44-15. They will remain in District 11-4A with the last UIL re-alignment. The other schools in the district will be Dallas Adamson, Dallas Carter, Dallas Kimball, Dallas Molina, Dallas Pinkston, Dallas Seagoville and North Dallas.
