2012 Coaching Change: Lampasas Badgers
Old Head Coach: Joey McQueen -- Leaving to be assistant at Hardin-Simmons University. He coached the Badgers for 3 years going 19-14. Before he took over, the Badgers had gone 0-20 in the previous 2 seasons.
New Head Coach: Jimmy Randolph -- Was the Badgers defensive coordinator and assistant for the past 5 seasons. He was also a head coach at Cross Plains from 2001-2002 going 9-12.
Team News: The Badgers 10 wins in 2011 was more than the previous 4 years combined (9-32). They will be moving to District 8-3A from 25-3A with the last UIL re-alignment. The other schools in the district will be Brownwood, Burnet, Gatesville, Liberty Hill and Llano.
