2012 Coaching Change: Electra Tigers
Old Head Coach: Keith Ivy — Leaving for 1A Seymour. He led the Tigers to a 6-6 record during his only season there. He has also been a defensive coordinator at Cleburne and an assistant at Allen, Sanger and Gainesville.
New Head Coach: Mark Young -- was an assistant at Denton Guyer for the past 6 years. He has also been an assistant at Hawley, Ore City and Baird.
Team News: The Tigers have had 6 consecutive non-winning seasons. They will be staying in District 8-1A Division II with the last UIL re-alignment. The other schools in the district will be Era, Muenster, Munday, Perrin-Whitt and Petrolia.
