Mike Says: The Gobblers had a disappointing season last year ending a streak of 8 consecutive 9+ win seasons. This year they have a new coach that who was an assistant here during better times and knows how to win. Logan Goebel does a little bit of everything and will be a defensive force along with DB Hopkins. Look for them to struggle a little again and go 5-5 or 4-6 in the regular season with an outside shot at that 3rd playoff spot.

Chris Says: Cuero is looking to return to their winning ways and they start by bringing back five starters on each side of the ball. New Head Coach, Travis Reeve will be in the spotlight in a city that LIVES for their Gobbler football. Cuero will do better this year than last, but that may not be enough to return to the postseason.
