Coaches Comments: We have big shoes to fill in graduating Eric Scheier as our leading ball carrier and a force at LB. We have big holes to fill on the OL with TJ Shannon and Ruben Hernandez.. Our strength is on the defensive side of the ball with several key players returning. If our OL and QB positions come through and we mature in key areas of need, we should be competing for a playoff spot again. With returning State Champions Wimberley and all other teams on the rise, it is a very tough district. Wimberley will still be the team to beat. Behind them everyone has a shot at a playoff spot.

- Mike Says: The Panthers RB Anderson will be one of the best players in the district. They bring back 11 starters from last years squad where they went 5-5 in the regular season but 2 of those losses where by a total of 3 points. Look for them to go 7-3 or 6-4 this year and come in 2nd in district behind Wimberley.
- Chris Says: Geronimo Navarro surprised a few teams last year by making it into the playoffs, this year may be harder. Sure, the top of the district has graduated a lot of talent, but the gap is still so large. I expect the Panthers to get 6 wins this year but miss out on the playoffs.
