2012 LSG Texas High School Football Team Preview — New Deal Lions

Mike Says: The Lions are looking for RB Gamez to have a big season on the offensive side of the ball. The defense will need to step up after giving up 109 points in 4 district games last year. Look for them to go 7-3 or 6-4 in the regular season and come in 2nd in the district. Once in the playoffs, they should go 1 or 2 rounds.

Chris Says: New Deal is the "real deal" and have absolutely rolled teams since their drop to Class 1A. Look for it to continue through their regular season if the defense can step up to the challenge. The Lions will be a playoff team, but not a threat for a state title.
