Mike Says: The Roughnecks lost out on the playoffs last year with 2 district losses by a total of 7 points. It was a shootout in every game last year as the offense averaged 37 points per game but the defense gave up 29. This year the offense will be its high scoring self but the defense needs to step up and get some stops. Look for them to go 6-4 or 5-5 this season and come in 2nd or 3rd in the district behind Tatum.

Chris Says: White Oak brings a lot of talent back this year and they will need every bit of it to compete with the teams in their district. A couple of bounced of the ball cost them a playoff spot last season. If the Roughnecks defense can slow down the scoring, the outcome should be quite a bit different this season. Look for them to make the playoffs this time around.
