Mike Says: The Trojans will have a tough running game while the Rattlers will feature the passing game. Coldspring-Oakhurst stars RB/LB Trey Cooper and DB Jerrell Sykes while Navasota features LB Jaylyin Minor, LB Will Imhoff, QB Kadarius Baker and WR Solomon McGinty. Last week the Trojans struggled a little with C.E. King while the Rattlers had little trouble with 4A Willis. The Trojans are a battle tested team making it to the Semifinals last year and being the Class 3A Division I Runner Up in 2010. The Rattlers have not been bad though, making it to the Quarterfinals in each of the last 2 seasons. This one will be one to go watch. The RATTLERS win in their first LSG Game Of The Week 35-28!!

Chris Says: Coldspring-Oakhurst is in one of those weird transitional periods. They just lost an amazing running back but have a lot of talent returning. Navasota too is at a crossroads. Gone are the kids that took them so far the past few years, but they do have some great new talent. I think this week, it comes down to who wants it more and judging from their 42-0 drubbing of Willis, Navasota certainly appears to want it. I know I will likely regret it, because Coldspring-Oakhurst always seems to rain on my predictions parade, but I have to go with Navasota. RATTLERS take the win 28-21!!!
