Mike Says: The Sandies come into this game with only 1 loss which was a last second loss to Wichita Falls Rider. Their win over Frenship last week moved them up quite a bit in the rankings. They will bring a very strong running game that few teams can stop. The Yellow Jackets have really turned their season around since falling to Monterrey Tech to open the season. Since then they have won 2 LSG Games Of The Week against Aledo and Waco La Vega. They will feature a high scoring offense led by QB Tyler Jones (913 yards passing abd 310 yards rushing 11 total TDs) and WR Brice Gunter (24-314). Their defense will feature DL Chase Varnado (37 tackles 9 TFL). Amarillo has over 1,000 more students than Stephenville has. This will be an interesting game to watch. The YELLOW JACKETS win it 31-21!!

Chris Says: I am a sucker for 'the Ville." Mike knows that simply by putting them as one of our games of the week, more often than not I am going to pick them. What can I say? I like this football program. Now, that isn't to say I have anything against the Amarillo Sandies - they too have a strong tradition and a quality football team. This time however, the Yellow Jackets have faced tougher opponents and done better. The 'Ville will notch another win in this one. The YELLOW JACKETS take it 30-26!!!
