Mike Says: This game is a little different than what we usually have. Both of these teams are newcomers to the TOP 25 list. Both of these teams will feature a strong running game. G-P will show off running back Devin Bisby Bisby (821 yards and 12 TDs) while Calhoun will have RB Jakorious Williams (915 yards 12 TDS 9.95 avg). The difference in this game may be whether Gregory-Portland QB Brandon Gonzales can return from injury. This could be for the district championship. Calhoun's defense will be the key to victory. The SANDCRABS win it 30-28!!

Chris Says: I mentioned it in last week's Five Big Things that it looked like we were heading for a showdown between these two teams. Both teams have been rolling through opponents but they did have one in common - Corpus Christi Carroll. That game turned out to be Gregory-Portland's closest game while it was just another butt whupping by Port Lavaca Calhoun. The SANDCRABS take this one and the early lead in the district 38-21!!
