Mike Says: This is a game of superstar Sophomores vs. superstar Juniors. Booker brings in SOPH QB Hunter Lile (2,721 yards 33 TDs) who is also the teams leading tackler with 104 and SOPH WR Jared Reagan (60-777 6 TDs). Wellington will feature JR QB/DB Klark Ashmore (1,324 yards 19 TDs), JR RB Terry Gilbreath (1,406 yards 21 TDs rushing) and JR LB Edgar Tellez who is their leading tackler. Not only are both of these teams set for now, they are set for the future. I expect a high scoring one. The SKYROCKETS win it 42-28!!

Chris Says: Booker had a couple of defensive breakdowns early in the season when Spearman put up 35 on them and Clarendon notched 59 in a shootout. Wellington, on the other hand, has been picture perfect all year although their defense gives up more regularly. QB, Hunter Lile is in the record books nearly every week for Booker. You don't much more evenly matched than this game. Both teams are within 2 points in scoring and within 3 points in points allowed. Both teams played their only like opponent, Vega to an almost identical score. Booker is home and if their regular defense shows up, it is their to win. If their defense breaks down, look for a shootout. KIOWAS take it 42-40!!!
