Navasota gets nod on first ever Fan Champs tie!!

Texas high school football fan championshipThis weeks Texas High School Football Fan Champs Award was won by the Navasota Rattlers who, scoring the same number of points as the Refugio Bobcats, won it on the tiebreaker.

When two or more teams are tied in the LSG Fan Champs award, the winner is determined by who got that last point in first.  Ie. regardless of whether the point was earned from commenting on the site, recording an audio, joining the Brotherhood etc., whoever got that final point first is the winner.

Not only was this the first ever tie for first place, but the top ten scored more total points than any top ten in Fan Champs history.  You guys are really getting out there and supporting your team - kudos!

A big shout out goes to all the schools around the state for doing their part week in and week out to support the GREATEST SPORT FROM THE THE GREATEST STATE - Texas high school football!!

Teams earn points in several ways:

  • Calling in audio support for their team to our fan feedback line 713-568-6361 (game reports, shoutouts to players or their school, you name it)
  • Sending in video from the game (as simple as a link to you YouTube video or other upload your video directly to LSG-TV)
  • Leaving comments here on the website
  • Sending photos from the game
  • Interacting with LSG on our facebook page (questions, comments, photos, poll participation etc.)
  • Interacting with LSG on our twitter (@LSGridiron - mentions, retweets, questions etc.)
  • Having your teammates PAST and PRESENT join The Brotherhood of Texas High School Football

In order to keep fans from "gaming the system," the point system is kept top secret!
