2013 Coaching Change: Corsicana Mildred Eagles
Old Head Coach: Patrick Harvell -- Resigned to be the assistant principal at Mexia Junior High School. He led the Eagles to a 48-15 record over the past 5 years and took them to their first ever state championship game last year. He also worked as a defensive coordinator at Gainesville. He leaves the Eagles as the 3rd all-time winningest coach in school history and has the highest coaching winning % there.
New Head Coach: Billy Dan Chambliess -- Was the defensive coordinator for the Eagles for the last 5 seasons. He has also coached as an assistant at at Greenville, Grand Saline and Forney. This will be his first head coaching position.
Team News: The Eagles have had back-to-back best seasons in school history over the past 2 years.
