Old Head Coach: Ken Stanley — Resigned after leading the Hornets for the past 2 seasons to a 6-14 record. Before taking over as the Hornets head coach, he was an assistant coach at 5A Humble Atascocita.

New Head Coach: John Launius -- Was the offensive coordinator at 3A La Marque.

Team News: The Hornets have had 5 consecutive non-winning seasons.
