2013 Coaching Change: Liberty Panthers
Old Head Coach: Shane Deel -- Leaving after leading the Panthers to a 20-29 record over the past 5 seasons.
New Head Coach: Chad Taylor -- Was the Offensive Coordinator at 5A La Porte. Has also worked as an assistant at Jacksonville, Baytown Sterling, West, Italy and Nocona. Coach Taylor was a 1990 Liberty graduate and was the quarterback for the Panthers.
Team News: The Panthers last playoff win was in 2004.
