2013 Coaching Change: Spring DeKaney Wildcats
Old Head Coach: Willie Amendola -- Leaving to become the assistant athletic director for Spring ISD after leading the Wildcats to a 31-24 record over the past 5 seasons. He has been the only head coach since the Wildcats began varsity play in 2008. This was his first head coaching position after spending 1981-2007 as an assistant at Houston Westbury, Klein Oak, Aldine Nimitz, Spring Westfield and Spring. Coach Amendola's 2007 team won the Class 5A Division II state championship. His son Danny plays in the NFL as a wide receiver for the St. Louis Rams.
New Head Coach: Anthony Williams -- Was the Wildcats offensive coordinator since 2008. Before that he was an assistant at Aldine and a head coach in Louisiana.
Team News: The Wildcats won a state champinship in their only playoff appearance in 5 seasons of play.
