2013 Coaching Change: Hebbronville Longhorns
Old Head Coach: Don Davis — Leaving after only 1 season, leading the Longhorns to a 0-10 season last year. He was also head coach at 5A Laredo Martin from 2003-2010 going 29-51 and at 2A Premont going 14-14 from 1996-1998.
New Head Coach: Joe Rios -- From Falfurrias where he led the Jerseys for the past 3 years to a 9-21 record. He has also been a head coach at 2A Premont going 23-27 from 2002-2006. Has been an assistant at Refugio and Premont. He turned around his Jerseys team with a 6-4 record last season. They had gone 2-28 in the previous 3 years before he got there. Coach Rios played on the Hebbronville 1986 and 1987 playoff teams.
Team News: The Longhorns have gone 2-18 over the past 2 seasons.
