2013 Coaching Change: Arlington Bowie Volunteers
Old Head Coach: Kenny Perry -- Leaving to be the high school football liaison for TCU. He led the Volunteers for the past 7 seasons to a 68-21-0 record. He is the all-time winningest coach in Bowie history. Before taking over the Volunteers, he was head coach at Haltom City (2004-05) going 8-12 and Arlington Sam Houston (2000-03) going 20-24. He has also been an assistant at Arlington Lamar. He has an all-time coaching record of 96-57-0 which ranks him in the Top 425 in all-time coaching wins.
New Head Coach: Danny DeArman -- Was the defensive coordinator for the Volunteers. He has also been an assistant at Arlington Sam Houston.
Team News: The Volunteers went 68-21 over last 7 seasons under Coach Kenny Perry. They went 30-109 in previous 14 seasons before he arrived.
