Mike Says: The Eagles had another dominating season last year. This year will be a little more difficult with only 6 starters coming back and none of those being in the skill positions. Their strength will be in the trenches though especially on the defensive line which is led by DL Jake McMillion. Look for them to go 8-2 or 9-1 in the regular season and their game against rival Cooper should be for the district championship. Another 2 to 3 rounds in the playoffs this year for the Eagles.

Chris Says: Abilene graduated almost all of their starters off an excellent team. But don't be alarmed, they do have a lot of experience returning. For the past 14 years the Eagles have been in the playoffs and this will make it 15 in a row. Expect them to drop at most 2 regular seasons games with Abilene Cooper being the most likely because of their intense rivalry. The retooled Eagles should last 3 rounds deep again.
