Notes:
* Have gone from 1 win in 2010 to 4 wins in 2011 to 7 wins in 2012 under coach Schreiber
* 2012 ended a 6 year losing streak
* 2012's 7 wins was the most wins in a season in the schools history
- Mike Says: The Bulldogs had their best season in school history last year making it to the playoffs for 1st time in 13 years. Coach Schreiber looks to have an even better season this year with a strong running game led by RB Enwere. The defense will need to improve after giving up over 25 points per game last year. Look for them to battle Hightower, Bush and Travis for the district title and go 7-3 or 6-4 in the regular season. Once in the playoffs...they get a win in Bi-District to win their first ever playoff game.
- Chris Says: After a slow start last year, Fort Bend Austin rolled to their best season ever. They graduated a lot of talent but some core players remain. With Seun Aboderin and Vic Enwere returning, it will be up to the O-line to give them a chance to shine once again. The new defensive squad will have to mature fast or their games will turn bad quickly. I expect a dropoff from last year. The Bulldogs could drop 5 games before the playoffs roll around and then it will be tough to return to the postseason. If they do eek into the playoffs, their experience will be good enough for one or two wins.
