2013 Coaching Change: Fort Worth Arlington Heights Yellow Jackets
Old Head Coach: Todd Whitten — Leaving to be assistant at the University Of Texas El Paso. He led the Yellow Jackets for 1 season going 2-8. Was the offensive coordinator at Lamar University. Before that he was a head coach at Sam Houston State University going 25-28 and at Tarleton State University going 40-18. He has also been an assistant at Texas Tech, New Mexico State, Texas-El Paso and Wyoming University. He played college football at Stephen F. Austin University. He spent a season with the New England Patriots and was also drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies.
New Head Coach: Phil Young -- Was the Yellow Jackets offensive coordinator last season. Before come to Arlington Heights, he was the head coach at 4A Cleburne for 6 years going 22-38-0. He was an offensive coordinator at Gainesville where they played in 2 state championship games. He has worked as an assistant at Rice University, University of North Texas and Denton Liberty Christian High School.
Team News: The Yellow Jackets have had winning seasons 10 of last 12 years.
