Coaches Comments: The Soldiers return a few starters from last years squad. Chris Cottingham and David Pool will lead a group of underclassmen into the 2013-14 season. Freshman Brandon Burnett, 6'2", 185lbs is this years high touted newcomer. Rookie Head Coach Jody Burnett brings a fire and enthusiasm that spreads like a wild fire to those around him. The Soldiers start the season knowing they have a lot to prove!
Returning Starters: Offense: 5 Defense: 4
Offense Spread
Defense 2-3-1
- Mike Says: The Soldiers had a rough season last year. Coach Burnett will bring a new style in to hopefully turn things around. Look for them to improve and earn 2 or 3 wins in the season.
- Chris Says: Coach Jody Burnett brings a lot of positivity to a team that has not had a lot of to celebrate recently. They are basically building this program from the ground up. The River City Believers are looking to make believers of their fan base this season as they inch closer to being a good team.
