Mike Says: The Raiders enter their 2nd year of varsity play after a pretty good first year. Their offense put up some points last year scoring over 29 ppg but the defense gave up 34. Look for them to get better and go 6-4 or 5-5 in the regular season and have an outside shot at that 4th playoff spot.

Chris Says: Round Rock Cedar Ridge is a team that is having to grow up fast in District 16-5A. They have been born into a veritable lions den of ferociously talented opponents. Last season's 4-6 record was an impressive performance and that trend should continue as they are the largest school in the district. Expect the Raiders to crack the .500 mark this season and if a couple of bounces go their way, make their first playoff appearance.
