- Mike Says: The Bobcats won this one big last year behind 500 yards of passing. The game was close early on but the Bobcats broke it open in the 2nd half. This years game will once again feature 2 very good quarterbacks. They will both be re-writing the record books this year. Refugio's Travis Quintanilla (Career #'s and all-time rankings 7,894 yd (47), 386 comp (171), 108 TD (10)) and Ingleside's Tristan Barajas (7,146 yd (77), 86 TD (NR)) will light up the Texas skies with footballs. Both squads are better than they were last year. It will be another high scoring game with the same results. The BOBCATS win big again 42-28!!
- Chris Says: I am such a fan of Ingleside this season (as well as the previous couple of years) and although I think the Mustangs will have a great run, I don't think it will start in Week Zero. If you are anywhere near this game, you need to check it out as it will be a showcase of passing and receiving skills. Both of these teams field some amazing quarterback and receiving crews, but only one team can come out on top this week. Refugio is ready to avenge what they felt was a very disappointing end to the year in 2012 and Coach Jason Herring intends to start with this game. BOBCATS take the W, 41-28!!!
- LSG Intern Zach Says: This will be the most entertaining quarterback battle of the week. Both Quintanilla and Barajas will shamelessly air it out, and their receivers will make them look good doing it. Ingleside will play closer than last year’s blowout, but I don’t see them slowing down the soon-to-be passing king of Texas. Bobcats 49-42.
