- Mike Says: One thing for sure is that this will be a high scoring game. Whitehouse comes in with the states #2 leading passer QB Patrick Mahomes (851 yards passing). He has been on target with 8 TDs and 0 INTs. Sulphur Springs is hoping that their star running back Willy Ivery will be back after being out with an ankle injury last week. The Wildcats from Sulphur Springs defense is led by LB Derick Ingram 20 tackles 2 caused fumbles and will have their hands full with the Wildcats from Whitehouse who have scored 100 points in 2 games. We have Whitehouse going to the championship game. This will be a good game but in the end no contest. The WHITEHOUSE WILDCATS win it 42-21!!
- Chris Says: I could make a joke about how I GUARANTEE the Wildcats will win, but come on. I am such a fan of Patrick Mahomes! He has been lighting up the field and looking just shy of perfect as he led Whitehouse to a 2-0 start. You already know that at LSG, we have been high on Whitehouse since before the season started (and the rest of the state is figuring it out.) This is going to be a good game, but it is not going to be a close game. The WHITEHOUSE WILDCATS move to 3-0 with a 45-26 victory!!!
- LSG Intern Zach Says: Whitehouse has been making believers out of everyone who has been watching. Patrick Mahomes was lights out last week, completing 66 percent of his passes for 395 yards and 4 TD in a great win over Tyler Chapel Hill. However, Sulphur Springs is one of those programs I don’t see falling to 1-2 at home. Willy Ivery and Larry Pryor are two of the most versatile players in the state, and they will come out ready to go. Sulphur Springs Wildcats 49-45.
