Mart PanthersMike Says: We caught a little grief early on for picking Mart as one of the top teams in Class 1A but they have played well this year even with their loss to Dallas St. Mark's. Rogers comes into this game on a roll scoring 159 points in 3 games. Last year the Eagles Slot-T put up big points (84 points) against this Mart team. They ran wild for an amazing 783 yards in that game. Mart leads this series all-time but Rogers is on a 3 game winning streak in the series. The Panthers were embarrassed last year....it will not happen again. The streak ends and the PANTHERS win it 42-27!!

Rogers EaglesChris Says: Rogers has really turned into a scoring machine the last few years and because of that, this matchup has been a great one.  In fact, last year's 84-58 win over Mart was one of the most exciting games of the season.  Rogers is still scoring like mad and after Mart's 71 point performance last week against Riesel, I expect this to be another shootout.  It is the classic matchup where whoever gets the ball last is likely to win.  I think it is going to be Rogers once again.  EAGLES win 45-41!!

Mart PanthersLSG Intern Zach Says: This is a tough one. Rogers has the RB/DB duo of Carson Skala and Brody Malovets anchoring either side of the ball. For Mart, QB/LB DeNerian Thomas is the reigning district MVP and leads a young squad eager to return to the state title game. At home, I like the Panthers to make a statement in this shootout. Panthers 63-59.

Rogers EaglesLSG Intern William Says: Mart has started off to a good 2-1 record. Marts only loss came from a 40-20 loss to a very good St Marks squad. On the other side Rogers won this matchup last year 84-58 and haven’t had many problems through their first three games they’ve had winning without any hiccups. Rogers wins 63-49.
