Allen EaglesMike Says: Allen will be looking for a little revenge this year. Coppell was the only team to beat them last year as Allen went on to win the state championship. The Eagles come in battle tested for sure as they have already had contest against Southlake Carroll and Cedar Hill. The Cowboys are very good but the Eagles are great. Like I said when the Eagles played Cedar Hill. I already gave Allen a chance to lose when they played Southlake Carroll. They will not lose another one this year. The EAGLES win it big 35-14!!

Coppell CowboysChris Says: This is one of those games that could come up and surprise everyone.  Sure, Allen is rolling and we picked them to return to the state title game, but Coppell could take the win here.   One interesting tidbit about these two teams is that BOTH are undefeated at Allen's Eagle Stadium this year!  While I think Allen will go much farther in the postseason, color me crazy when I say... COWBOYS win 37-35!!

Allen EaglesLSG Intern Zach Says: All due respect to Coppell and stud running back Charles West, but Allen is a machine this year. Quarterback Kyler Murray continues to thrash even good defenses, allowing the Eagles to run away from teams like Lewisville Hebron and Cedar Hill. Coppell remains a very good team this year, but few can keep up with these Eagles for four quarters, especially on the road. Eagles 49-35.

Allen EaglesLSG Intern William Says:  Coppell got the best of Allen last year in an emotional overtime thriller at home. This year they’ll face the top team in the state in their $60 million stadium fit for a college program. Coppell’s rushing game has been at its best so far this year rushing over 284 yds per game led by RB Charles West. Allen however is playing its 3 only allowed 93 yds per game. Allen defense led by LBs Christian Sam and Tay Evans have yet to allow a team to beat them rushing the ball and QB Kyler Murray is still leading a very potent offense. Eagles win 49-31
