Stamford BulldogsMike Says: This is a matchup of our Pre-Season #6 vs. #7 teams. Stamford comes in to play in their 3rd consecutive state championship game. This will be Shiner's 4th championship game and first since 2004. Stamford is led by QB Bo Wimberly (1,981 yards passing and 1,532 yards rushing). His favorite receiving target is WR James Washington who is now #2 all-time in receiving touchdowns. Bo & James also have 12 INT's between them when they are on defense. Their defense is also headed up by LB Ty McLemore who averages almost 12 tackles per game. Shiner is led by RB/LB Jacob Stafford and TE/DL Caleb Kalich. Both of these teams have battled to be here. I think most of the state will consider Stamford to be the favorite but it will be close (like our pre-season rankings). The BULLDOGS win their 5th State Championship 27-24!!

Stamford BulldogsChris Says: While I have a soft spot in my heart for Shiner, they are going up against a very tough Stamford team.  There are some people saying that this is Stamford's best team yet - I'm not sure I would go that far.  Like I said, my sentimental favorite to win the thing are the Shiner Comanches as it is good to see them return to power.  I mean really, hasn't Stamford won enough recently?  I think they win at least one more.  The BULLDOGS win 30-21!!

Stamford BulldogsLSG Intern William Says: Stamford makes it back to the state championship after winning it in 2012 they also secured a first round bye in region 1. Shiner has made their own run to the state championships behind quarter back Jacob Stafford and running back Marcus Coleman. Stamford is led by their dual-threat senior quarterback Bo Wimberly who has dazzled with his arm (1981 yards) and his legs (1532 yards). The Bulldogs repeat 37-27.

Stamford BulldogsLSG Fan Poll Says: This one is a very close one!  It was running neck and neck in the voting until Stamford (53%) edged out Shiner (47%) in the final voting.  That is a small enough margin to say that the fans are just about dead split on who will win?  What are your thoughts?  Comment below !
