Ganado’s Jimmy Thompson Resigns

Coach Jimmy Thompson has resigned as the head coach of the Ganado Indians. He led the Indians to an overall 39-9 record over the past 4 seasons making the playoffs all 4 seasons.  His teams made the Area playoffs in 2012 and made it to the Regionals in 2010, 2011 & this year.

He came to Ganado from Mount Pleasant and has also been a head coach at Cleveland, Garrison, Trinity, Hubbard and Apple Springs. His 2003 Garrison team won the Class 2A Division II championship. Before taking over as a head coach, he coached as an assistant at Nacogdoches, Livingston, Madisonville and Mexia.

Coach Thompson has an all-time record of 177-87-1.
