Road to the Ride debuts today!
William Lisenby - Austin Lake Travis
What we intend to do throughout this season and beyond is to chronicle the football-related happens for one Texas high school football player, William Lisenby a Freshman RB & LB for the Austin Lake Travis Cavaliers.
This is not some cheesy reality show. It is a real Texas high school football player that is really working to have an impact on a real Texas high school football team. It is your chance to see him develop as a player, a young man and hopefully into a college football player. We will learn what it takes to compete for a starting job on one of the premiere programs in the state.
Each week we will stats, photos, articles and interviews with Will and those involved in helping him reach his goals.
Here are some highlights from his first ever game on one of the Lake Travis Freshman teams:
Lake Travis 37 - Waco Midway 10. William had 6 carries for 91 yards and 1 TD. He also registered two kickoff tackles inside the Red Zone.
