Everyone is talking about the big names that are being recruited around the state and the commitments they have already made. (Malik Jefferson OLB Mesquite Poteet - University of Texas, Jarrett Stidham QB Stephenville - Baylor, Kyler Murray QB Allen - Texas A&M)
There are still some amazingly talented players that have not committed to a team. Let's take a look at who the consensus Top 10 remaining uncommitted players are:
Name | POS | High School | Height | Weight |
Daylon Mack | DT | Gladewater | 6'2" | 310 lbs |
DaMarkus Lodge | WR | Cedar Hill | 6'3" | 195 lbs |
Soso Jamabo | RB | Plano West | 6'3" | 210 lbs |
Chris Warren | RB | Rockwall | 6'2" | 220 lbs |
Kris Boyd | DB | Gilmer | 6'1" | 180 lbs |

We are talking about some major talent here. Defensive Tackle, Daylon Mack is considered the absolute best Texas high school football player available and has tweeted that TCU is his favorite right now but he has other visits still scheduled.
The two best running backs in this years class (SoSo Jamabo and Chris Warren) are still uncommitted and will make some college team very happy. Also, the two best receivers in the state are still up for grabs. (DeMarkus Lodge and Carlos Strickland.)
A lot of these are immediate impact players that can change an average recruiting class to top-notch come signing day.
