Class 6A Offensive Player of the Year
Winner : QB Kyler Murray (Allen)
This award marks Back-to-Back awards for Murray as he was our Class 5A Offensive Player of the Year last year. Kyler Murray completed 278 of 433 passes for 4,715 yards and 54 touchdowns. He also ran for 1,498 yards and scored 24 touchdowns Allen (16-0) won their 3rd consecutive championship and 4th since 2008

2. WR DaMarkus Lodge (Cedar Hill)
DaMarkus Lodge finished the year with 63 catches 1,219 yards 25 touchdowns including two big touchdown catches in the championship game

- Texas Sports Writers Association 1st Team All-State
- Texas Associated Press Sports Editors 2nd Team All-State
- Won their 2nd consecutive championship in their 3rd consecutive championship game (all 3 against Katy) Also won the 2006 championship
3. RB Rodney Anderson (Katy)
Rodney Anderson ran for 2,686 yards and scored 36 touchdowns leading Katy to their 3rd consecutive state championship game

- Texas Sports Writers Association 1st Team All-State
- Texas Associated Press Sports Editors 2nd Team All-State
4. RB Chris Warren (Rockwall)
Chris Warren notched 250 carries for 2,320 yards and 34 touchdowns and he led the Yellow Jackets to a 12-1 record which is the schools best since 1981
