Chris Doelle is on the ground in Houston for the Texas High School Coaches Association (THSCA) coaching school The University Interscholastic League (UIL) held a press conference to make a couple of announcements. Dr Charles Breikhaupt (UIL), Dr Jamey Harrison (UIL), Kevin Hoffman (Harris County Sports & Convention Corporation) and Dr. Susan Elza (UIL)
Including:
- State Championship games WILL be in Houston at NRG Stadium
- Why Houston won out.
- What will happen in the future for title game locations.
- Introduction of Dr. Susan Elza the new Director of Athletics in the UIL
