We are looking at two of the four state championship contenders from last season to re-appear in 2015.  Cameron Yoe is slated to repeat for their 4th straight title and Newton to get over the hump and turn last season's appearance into this season's victory.

Mike Says: Can Cameron Yoe win another state championship? They have the talent but teams like Hallettsville, Mineola and Shallowater may want to hoist that trophy instead of watching the Yoemen do it for the 4th consecutive season. In Division II, Newton wants to win it this year. Elysian Fields is ready to make another championship appearance after going 11-11 over the last 2 years. Looks like another great season in Class 3A.

Chris Says:  It looks like Region II is going to roll in the playoffs this year and produce both of the Class 3A State Champions.  I find Region IV very interesting this year as some old standbys return to dominance.  Hallettsville and East Bernard should represent the region well but not good enough to make a title game appearance.  I see a lot of very close games so none of these are "sure things."  A lucky bounce or a little extra effort will likely be the difference in many of these matchups.
