Cedar Hill Gets Big Win Over Dallas Skyline
-
Updated: September 12, 2015
In a battle that was billed as not only the biggest showdown in the DFW Region, but the entire state, the 3rd ranked Cedar Hill Longhorns (3-0) showed off their great defense with a 20-10 win over the 4th ranked Dallas Skyline Raiders (2-1).
The Cedar Hill defense held Skyline to 283 yards and forced 2 turnovers to get the win. They also stopped Skyline three times on fourth down plays.
This was only the 2nd time that these two have played each other. Skyline won last years matchup, 40-30.
Next week Cedar Hill (District 8-6A) will face another tough opponent in Coppell (2-1). Skyline (District 9-6A) will have a bye week before starting up district play.
We will see both of these make long runs into the playoffs again this year.
