Texas High School Football Stat Leaders
2016 Week 1
As you know, Lone Star Gridiron rules the roost when it comes to keeping track of the top performers across the state. Currently, we list 20+ of the leading passers, rushers and receivers in the state. This list will grow each week and their totals will grow until we crown the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yardage!
Gilmer's quarterback Aaron Brown jumped out to a big lead in the passing department with his 577 yards. After him their were five other passers with over 400 yards. We have 22 passers listed with #22 having 326 yards.
Cleburne's quarterback Tre'Von Bradley had a great first game with 431 yards rushing to take the lead in rushing. There were four other runners with over 300 yards. We have 32 runners listed with #32 having 206 yards.
McKinney receiver Quinton Quirrenbach leads everyone in receiving yards with 280 (Hudl highlights.) It is quite a coming out party for Quinton who only caught 142 yards all season last year. There were eight others with over 200 yards. We have 20 receivers listed with #20 having 178 yards.
