Another Great Week!
How did the top teams do in Week 2? We got not one but two double overtime games in Class 6A top rankings. Corpus Christi Calallen got upset in Class 5A. Texarkana Liberty-Eylau goes to 0-2 but they have played some of the best in Class 4A. Top ranked Waskom lost in 3A Division II. Shiner and Falls City were the only Top 2A schools to lose and both of those were to much bigger schools. Here is a list of our Top 20's and Top 10's along with their results.

That will show you how the top teams fared, but as always, there were some surprises. Here are a few teams to watch as they might be moving towards the top of the rankings.
Teams to Watch
6A - Converse Judson - Wow....first the beat Austin Lake Travis (who just had a game of the week double overtime win over Cibolo Steele) but they just won easily over a very good Northside Brennan team.
5A - College Station - They have not played top competition yet but then again, they have not even been challenged. They have outscored their two opponents 117-21. We told you to watch out for this team in the pre-season.
4A - Stafford - They are very good. Lots of speed.
3A - Odem - This team is going to score a lot of points this year.
2A - Post - They dropped down in Classification this year and are taking care of business.
