Texas High School Football Stat Leaders 2016 Week 5

As you know, Lone Star Gridiron rules the roost when it comes to keeping track of the top performers across the state.  Currently, we list 20+ of the leading passers, rushers and receivers in the state.  This list will grow each week and their totals will grow until we crown the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yardage!

Robinson's Chase Allison remained at the top of the passing charts with another 428 yard effort this week. He now has 2,270 yards on the season. Levelland's Nick Gerber remained in 2nd place with 2,067 yards. Keep an eye on Gerber's touchdown pass numbers. He has 35 of them through 5 weeks. The all-time record is 71. We have 22 passers listed with #22 having 1,326 yards.

El Paso Parkland running back Sophomore Deion Hankins had another great week running the football with 387 yards. He now has 1,469 yards on the season. San Antonio Southside's running back Matthew Collier remained in 2nd place and now has 1,139 yards. AJ Reed from Post also topped the 1,000 yard mark with 1,001 yards. We have 27 runners listed with #27 having 774 yards.

Robinson's Braxton Ashcraft kept the receiving lead with 197 more yards this week to move his total to 1,189 yards. He is the only receiver right now with over 1,000 yards. Beeville Jones Waydale Jones remained in 2nd place with 930 yards. We have 23 receivers listed with #23 having 564 yards.
