Texas High School Football Stat Leaders 2016 Week 6

As you know, Lone Star Gridiron rules the roost when it comes to keeping track of the top performers across the state.  Currently, we list 20+ of the leading passers, rushers and receivers in the state.  This list will grow each week and their totals will grow until we crown the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yardage!

Levelland's Nick Gerber took over as the states top passer with a 477 yard output this past week. Robinson's Chase Allison moved the 2nd place as the Rockets had a bye week. We have 20 passers listed with #20 having 1,613 yards. Five passers have already reached the 2,000 yard mark just 6 games in.

El Paso Parkland running back Sophomore Deion Hankins had another great week running the football with 286 yards. He now has 1,755 yards on the season. He has a 422 yard lead on 2nd place AJ Reed from Post. We have 25 runners listed with #25 having 875 yards. Six rushers are now over the 1,000 yards mark.

Robinson's Braxton Ashcraft kept the receiving lead and Beeville Jones Waydale Jones remained in 2nd place with 930 yards even though both of them were idle this week. Magnolia receiver Michael Woods caught 18 passes for 291 yards this week to make a strong push to the top and is now at #4. We have 25 receivers listed with #25 having 626 yards.
