Two All-Time Records Broken In Levelland vs Decatur Playoff Game

Lone Star Gridiron

There were two all-time records broken in the Levelland vs. Decatur playoff game. Levelland won the game 82-73 for a total of 155 points scored in the game. That broke the all-time highest scoring game in playoff game. Levelland quarterback Nick Gerber threw for 6 touchdowns in the game. That gives him 73 for the year, breaking the record.

The 155 points breaks the record of 145 points set when Refugio beat Rogers 73-72 in the 2013 2A Regionals in overtime. This record may be broken again next week as Levelland plays Andrews. The last time the teams played earlier this season, Andrews won 77-76 in overtime when Levelland was unable to convert a two point conversion in an attempt to win the game.

Gerbers 73 passing touchdowns on the season, breaks the record 0f 71 held by Navasota's Shelton Eppler in 2014.
