Mike Says: Richland Springs will be playing in their 9th championship game since 2001. On the other side, Balmorhea is playing in their first. I do not think this will be a blowout but Balmorhea will need to be at their best to stay in this one. Richland Springs wins their 8th title with a 54-46 win!!
Chris Says: Richland Springs is the clear favorite in this game. They have the pedigree and the state titles (7) to prove it. Balmorhea is the upstart challenger although Head Coach Vance Jones has earned three titles (with four different teams) in five championship games. While this is home to the greatest swimming hole in the entire country, winning a state title in their first appearance is going to be a tall order. Richland Springs by 18.
